Reports

Analyze form responses in Formfacade Reports โ€” built-in reports, custom columns and layouts, export to CSV/PDF, weekly/monthly/yearly views, and syncing to a dedicated Google Sheet.

Quick Answer

How do I report on responses in Formfacade?

Open the Reports tab for a spreadsheet-style view of your responses. Use the built-in reports (Response summary, Responses by status, Responses by email, Traffic source), switch the date range or layout, and edit a report with the pencil to pick columns and organize it as a table, nested table, or matrix. Export to CSV/PDF, or sync everything to a dedicated Google Sheet.

Where the Responses board is for managing submissions, Reports is for analyzing them โ€” a spreadsheet-style view you can filter, reshape, and export.

The built-in reports

The Reports tab opens with four ready-made reports (plus โŠ• New to add your own):

ReportWhat it shows
Response summaryEvery response in a table โ€” id, date, status, and your form fields
Responses by statusResponses grouped by their status
Responses by emailResponses grouped by respondent email
Traffic sourceWhere your responses came from

Working with a report

Every report has a toolbar in the top-right:

  • Date range โ€” page through periods with โ€น Aug 9 โ€“ Aug 15 โ€บ.
  • View toggle โ€” switch between the standard columns view and Columns to rows (which transposes fields into rows).
  • Search โ€” find values in the report.
  • Pencil โ€” edit the report (see below).

Export, format & more (the โ‹ฎ menu)

The three-dot menu holds the export and formatting actions:

Sync to a dedicated Google Sheet

The โš™๏ธ settings icon opens Advanced settings, where Sync all responses to sheets creates a dedicated Google Sheet for reporting. It comes with two tabs โ€” Responses and Response Statuses โ€” for a fuller view of your data.

Note

This is separate from linking the underlying Google Form to a sheet (see How Responses Sync) โ€” it's a reporting-focused sheet Formfacade builds from your responses.
